Gadget Rum Club operates ShiftBeacon, a workforce staffing and shift coverage notification system used to send operational, work-related SMS communications.

We may collect employee names, mobile phone numbers, scheduling information, shift eligibility information, SMS consent records, and responses to ShiftBeacon messages.
How Mobile Numbers Are Used
Mobile phone numbers are used only to deliver operational, work-related ShiftBeacon communications. These communications may include available shift notifications, staffing requests, scheduling updates, shift confirmations, and notifications that an available shift has been filled.
Mobile Information Sharing
Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent information, and opt-in records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Information may be shared only with service providers necessary to operate and deliver ShiftBeacon messaging, such as telecommunications and messaging providers.

Message and data rates may apply depending on the user's wireless carrier and mobile service plan.
Data Security
Gadget Rum Club uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect contact information, consent records, and messaging data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
SMS Opt-In & Consent
Users are not automatically enrolled in ShiftBeacon SMS messaging.
Users voluntarily provide their mobile phone number through the ShiftBeacon enrollment page and must actively select an unchecked SMS consent checkbox before enrollment is completed.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of employment.”
The consent checkbox is not preselected. Consent to receive ShiftBeacon SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of employment.
